Welcome to Spring Creek! We have 5 core ministry areas that are placed into a core principle: Seeking God, Serving Others, Sharing Life, Studying the Bible, and the Support Ministry.

God has blessed you with talents and interests and we ask that you use these to help the Church grow and continue to look like Jesus.

To use this form simply:

After filling out this form a Deacon from the areas you are interested in will come and visit with you.

Helping with the A/V equipment used during worship service

Work with ministers and song leaders to create projector slides for worship services

Ensure that A/V equipment is in proper working condition

Operate song slides during song leading and operate sound board for worship and Bible study classes

Provide DVD copies of worship services upon request

Greeter Team

Welcome members and visitors as they walk in the doors for worship.

Be the first point of contact for all who attend morning services

Escort visitors to their classrooms

Introduce visitors to members to help form connections

Talk to fellow Christians to encourage them

Steward Spring Creek's resources to those that are in financial or physical need.

Help meet the physical or financial needs of those in need as directed by the Deacons

Encouragement

Promote a family atmosphere through different kinds of encouragement.

Write notes, call, send cards to encourage others

Pray for people when called upon

Food Pantry

Serve the community through helping at "Lydia's Pantry" as we provide food assistance to those in need

Serve and help with the Lydia's Pantry when it is open

Organize and prepare for Lydia's Pantry days

Pick up and unload food from donors

International Missions

Support and seek efforts to help the Lord's church grow throughout the entire world.

Connect and communicate with and encourage our international missionaries

Visit our international missionaries

Research and identify new international missionary opportunities

Local Missions

Spread the Gospel within Tomball and the United States.

Serve our Nursing Home mission on Sunday AM (Encourage, Teach, Sing, etc.)

Look and research new opportunities for local missionary opportunities

Serve Communion to someone who could not attend church

Help at or with Impact Church of Christ

Building

Assist in maintaining different areas of the church building.

General building maintenance, baptistry maintenance, and general repairs

Maintain church van on an as needed basis (oil changes, rotate tires, etc.)

Beautify and weed flower beds, trim and maintain shrubs

Oversee special projects and act as a liaison between the contractor performing work and the building

Specialty trades like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, security systems, etc.

Finance

Responsible for practicing good financial stewardship in all of Spring Creek's physical and ministry areas

Manage budget preparation, generate reports, and recommend action steps

Negotiate better utility/vendor contracts and recommend capital investments/account management

Help in other areas as needed with CPA or non-profit sector experience

Grounds

Beautify the outside of the church building

Mow and weed eat church building

Mow and weed eat home/youth building

Trim trees and remove debris

Help maintain lawn equipment

IT Team

Manage the computers, network, software, and website.

Manage and use church website and software

Manage church's network and computers
